Coyle Middle School is a public middle school located in Rowlett, Texas (USA). Coyle Middle School enrolls students in grades 6-8 and is a part of the Garland Independent School District. The school's current principal is Ray Merrill. The two assistant principals are Nikketta Wilson and David Wood. The school is named after a key founding father of Rowlett, Ed Coyle. It was founded in 1973 and has won numerous trophies and awards, like for athletic matches and choir, to name a few. They also have a committee just for making the annual yearbook, which comes out rather splendid. They have several extra curriculum activities available, like the Academic Pentathlon and Lite brigade.
In 2010, the school was rated "Recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[7]
